Pongal

Pongal is Harvest festival celebrated in Tamil Nadu and across India.
The Pongal was celebrated in traditional style at Worsall Village Hall on 12th January 2014. This celebration proved to be a great platform for our students to experience our culture and festival but also for all the adults to enjoy the festive spirit. The programme included dance, fancy dress by children, Film dubbing competition for adults and children, Kolattam and Oyilattam and Pongal lunch. The children’s fancy dress was the highlight where many of our famous and important characters in Tamil history and cinema came alive on stage.
